Coosa Crafters

Coosa Crafters is a group of faith filled men and women who meet weekly on Wednesdays in morning and afternoon sessions to fellowship, pray and create wonderful works of crafts and art with the sole purpose of giving back to the community.

These fabulous creations are sold at the Annual Coosa Crafts Sale each fall along with jams, jellies and baked goods. Proceeds from the Annual Craft Sale go to missions and ministries.

All are welcome to be a part of the Coosa Crafters.

Circle of Friends

Circle of Friends is a group of spirited women who meet quarterly for lunch, fellowship and programs centered on missions, ministries, and other areas Coosa might be able to be actively involved in the local community and around the world. The Circle of Friends biggest project is their Annual Coosa Pecan Sales.

This endeavor brings people from all over the area together which also generates a lot of joy and camaraderie. Monies earned from the sales go to missions and ministries as well.

Coosa Men’s Ministry

Coosa Men have many projects around the church and throughout the local area. They help when called to move furniture or other items whenever a strong and helping hand is needed. The Men’s Ministry has a large well known annual project better known as “The Coosa Yard Sale” held in July every year.

This annual yard sale has buyers arriving before dawn and in line early to purchase household furniture, housewares, tools, art, and collectibles that have been transported, and warehoused for the event. The Coosa Men also help sponsor and work at the Adventure Amputee Day Camp each summer finding much joy in providing needed help and support.

As with our other ministries at Coosa, the monies generated goes to our missions and ministries.

Coosa Scholarship Fund

Coosa has a legacy of providing scholarships for deserving college students who apply and keep a required grade point average and values participation in Christ centered programs during the college years.

Over the years Coosa has been able to bless many deserving students with funds to assist with books, supplies, and tuition.
